In Italy, passenger transport companies operating scheduled or school transport services governed by a valid contract with public administrations can request a refund of excise duties on diesel fuel consumed for the services provided.
This tax relief is also available from government agencies in several European Union countries and is available for all tourist buses operating international passenger transport services behind closed doors and refueled in Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, and Hungary.
